Just To Know: Infanticide

Infanticide
Infanticide my fellow people is another term for infant homicide, the intentional killing of an infant. This is also a primitive method of birth control and a means of "getting rid" of weak and deformed children. In most societies  children are put to death (or were allowed to die) "only under exceptional circumstances.
In the year 1983 the United States was  ranked number 11 for infants under 1 year that were killed. The U.S also ranked in number 4 for those whom have been killed from 1-14 years. The U.S. Centers For Disease Control showed in the year 2007 that the U.S infant mortality is 21% higher in female infants than male.

In 1973 the legalization of abortion was completed.
In the year 2009, a Texas State Representative Jessica Farrar proposed legislation that would define infanticide as:
a distinct and lesser crime than homicide.

Now under the terms of the proposed legislation, if jurors concluded that a mother's judgement was impaired as result of the effects of giving birth or the effects of lactation following the birth.

"They would be allowed to convict her crime of infanticide, rather than murder."

HEAR THIS:

The maximum penalty for infanticide would be two years in prison.

Abortion Linked With Infanticide
Abortion (Noun): In the 1540's from Latin abortionem (nominative abprtio) "miscarriage, abortion".
An earlier noun in English was simply 'Abort' (early 15c). Originally was the term for both deliberate and unintended miscarriages; in 19c. There was made in effort to distinguish:
  • Abortion: Expulsion of the fetus between 6-weeks and 6 months.
  • Miscarriage: The same within 6 weeks of conception
  • Premature Labor: Delivery after 6 months but before due time
Foeticide (Verb): 1823 as forensic medical term for deliberate
Abortion was so much taboo in the early 20c;
  • Considered a criminal operation (U.S.)
  • Illegal Operation (U.K)

Infanticide
Post-Birth Abortion
Fourth Trimester Abortion
After Birth Abortion
Partial Birth Abortion

"When circumstances occur after birth such that they would have justified abortion, what we call after-birth abortions should be permissible."
"Actual people's well-being could be threatened by the new (even if healthy) child requiring energy, money, and care which the family might happen to be in short supply of."

These are words of two Bioethicists:
Alberto Giubilini
-From the University Of Milan-
&
Francesca Minerva
-Is a Post-Doctoral At The University Of Melbourne's Centre For Applied Philosophy & Public Ethics-

They Go On To Say:
"Actual people's well-being could be threatened by the new (even if healthy_ child requiring energy. money, and care which the family might happen to be in short supply of," they observe. Accordingly, "if economical, social, or psychological circumstances change such that taking care of the offspring becomes an unbearable burden on someone, then people should be given the chance of not being forced t do something they cannot afford" An after-birth abortion might be warranted by any "interests of actual people (parents, family, society) to pursue their own well-being"---including "the interests of the mother who might suffer psychological distress from giving her child up for adoption."

What Is Bioethics?
Bioethics (noun): The term Bioethics (Greek bios, life; ethos, behavior) was created in 1927 by Fritz Jahr, who "anticipated many of the arguments and discussions now current in biological research involving animals" in the article - "bioethical imperative," regarding the scientific use of animals and plants. In 1970, the American biochemist Van Rensselaer Potter also used the term with a broader meaning including solidarity towards the biosphere , thus generating a "global ethics," a discipline representing a link between biology, ecology, medicine and human values in order to attain the survival of both human beings and other animal species.

Journal of Medical Ethics
An International Peer-Reviewed Journal for Health Professionals and Researchers in Medical Ethics
Excerpt from the Article:
When circumstances occur after birth such that they would have justified abortion, what we call after-birth abortion should be permissible. … We propose to call this practice ‘after-birth abortion’, rather than ‘infanticide,’ to emphasize that the moral status of the individual killed is comparable with that of a fetus … rather than to that of a child. Therefore, we claim that killing a newborn could be ethically permissible in all the circumstances where abortion would be. Such circumstances include cases where the newborn has the potential to have an (at least) acceptable life, but the well-being of the family is at risk.”

Alberto Giubilini & Francesca Minerva are considered eugenics; Eugenics deal with selective breeding as proposed to human improvement, this proposed improvement of the human species by encouraging or permitting reproduction of only those people with genetic characteristics ruled on desirable. It has been regarded with disfavor since the Nazi period.

In 1883, devised (along with adjective eugenic) by English scientist Francis Galton (1822-1911) on analogy of ethicsphysics, etc. From Greek eugenes "well-born, of good stock, of noble race," from eu- "good" + genos "birth".
The investigation of human eugenics, that is, of the conditions under which men of a high type are produced.
[Galton, "Human Faculty," 1883]

Who Else Is Backing Up This "Method"?
Believe it or not; Planned Parenthood
Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a U.S. affiliate of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). PPFA is a non-profit organization providing reproductive health and maternal and child health services.

The federal money received by Planned Parenthood is not used to fund abortion services, but pro-life activists have argued that the funding frees up other resources which are, in turn, used to provide abortions.

Planned Parenthood is the largest single provider of abortions in the US.. In 2009, Planned Parenthood performed 332,278 abortions (for comparison, 1.21 million abortions were performed  in the U.S in 2008), from which it stems about $164,154,000; or 15% of its annual revenue of their 2008-2009 calculations. According to PPFA's own estimates, its contraceptive services prevent approximately 612,000 unintended pregnancies and 291,000 abortions annually. Planned Parenthood testified against a florida bill that would require abortionists to provide emergency medical care to an infant who survives an abortion.

Planned Parenthood America is an advocate for reproductive rights, contributing to sponsorship of abortion rights and women's rights events and assisting in the testing of new contraceptive federation opposes restriction on woman's reproductive health services, including parental consent laws. Planned Parenthood also takes the position that laws requiring parental notification before an abortion is performed on a minor are unconstitutional on privacy ground. The organization also opposes laws requires that ultrasounds before abortions, stating that their only purpose is to make abortions more
difficult to obtain.

Planned parenthood has also opposed advantages that require waiting periods before abortions, and bans on late-term abortions; including intact dilation and extraction, which has been illegal in the U.S. since 2003.

Planned Parenthood has occupied a central position in the abortion debate in the U.S. pro-life activists for decades. Congressional Republicans have attempted since the 1980s to defund the organization, nearly leading to a government shutdown over the issue in 2011.

Planned Parenthood testified lobbyist Alisa Lapolt Snow was asked:
"If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child is struggling for life?"

Alisa LaPolt Snow replied:
"We believe that any decision that's made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician."

What Is Title X?

Title X Family Planning Program, also known as Public Law 91-572 or "Population Research & Voluntary Family Planning Programs". It was enacted under President Richard Nixon in 1970 as part of the Public Health Service Act.

Title X is the only existing federal grant program that is completely devoted to providing comprehensive family planning and other related preventive health services to individuals. Title X is administered by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, Office of Population Affairs (OPA) by the Office of Family Planning (OFP).

What Happens If the Baby Is Still Alive, AFTER The Abortion?

There is an act title “The Born-Alive Infants Protection Act”. This was drafted after a nurse named Jill Stanek working at Christ Hospital in Chicago in 1999. Jill Stanek discovered that babies were being born alive during abortions and were in utility closets left to die.

Stanek testified in the U.S. Congress that she and her colleagues witnessed many cases where children were left to die in filthy linen closets and cold metal scales. She once held an aborted child for close to an hour while he died because the hospital refused to treat him.
Senator Obama spoke out against the bill in 2002.

The law passed once Obama left the state Senate.

Born Alive Infants Protection Act

"Born Alive" is defined as the complete expulsion of an infant at any stage of development that has a heartbeat, pulsation of the umbilical cord, breath, or voluntary muscle movement, no matter if the umbilical cord has been cut or if the expulsion of the infant was:
  • Natural
  • Induced Labor
  • Cesarean Section
  • Induced Abortion
This defines a "Born Alive Infant" as a:
  • Person
  • Human Being
  • Child
  • Individual
This gives rights as a human to any child born within the United States. It extends legal protection to an infant born alive after a failed (botched) attempt at induced abortion, and was signed by President George W. Bush.

Cases Of Botched (Failed) Abortions

Doctor Kermit Gosnell (72):

In 2011,Gosnell, and various employees, were changed with 8 counts of murder resulting in part from gross medical malpractice in treatment of patients at his clinics, as well as several lesser offenses.

The murder charges related to a patient who died while under his care and seven newborn said to have been killed after being born alive during attempted abortions.

In May 2013, he was convicted on three of the murder charges. After his conviction, Gosnell waived his right of appeal in exchange for an agreement not to seek the death penalty. He sentenced instead to life in prison without possibility of parole.

Pennsylvania of all its abortion clinics for 15 years by the time Gosnell's facility was raided and closed down. Two top state health department officials were fired, and Pennsylvania imposed tougher rules for clinics.

Dr. William Baxter Waddill:

In 1977, March 2nd; A Dr. William Baxter Waddill at Westminster Community Hospital gave a teenager by the name of Mary whom was 28 weeks pregnant had a saline abortion.

In a saline abortion, an acidic saline solution is injected into the woman's uterus. It slowly burns and poisons the baby, and then the mother goes through labor, "giving birth" to a deceased child.
  • Saline Abortion: Does It Always Work?
This can only be done at 16 weeks or later:

When enough fluid is in the amniotic sac surrounding the baby a long needle is inserted into the abdomen and the wall of the uterus into the amniotic cavity of the mother. Usually one cup of amniotic fluids is withdrawn, then a small dose of the solution is injected. If the mother doesn't have immediate signs of allergic reactions or rejection, the rest of the solution is injected.

The baby will then swallow the solution and poisoned, and the developing baby's skin is burned. This suffering is up to 1  or 1/12 hours, the baby heart then stops. This burns the lungs and strips the outer layer of the baby's skin. This is when the mother goes into labor and delivers. The baby is then delivered in the most horrible way.

HEAR THIS: A developing baby's pain receptors in his/her nervous system has developed and they can feel pain at 13 to 14 weeks.

The complications with this could be the death of the mother if the solution is injected directly into the mother's vascular (blood vessels) system, this happens when the salt enters into the bloodstream causing:
  • Severe Dehydration
  • Seizures
  • Coma
If the needle is misplaced into the bladder this will cause damage to the uterus, it can also initiate uncontrolled blood clotting throughout the mother's body, with severe hemorrhaging and other serious effects on her central nervous system, like her brain and spinal cord.

This procedure doesn't always kill the developing child and there have been hours of insufferably painful burning and poisoning where the baby is born ALIVE

*American Abortionists have denied this procedure dangerous to mother and the fact that it is evil, and cruel, to the baby. This is a serious and deadly procedure to a pregnant woman and to her health. A wrongful, disgusting way to destroy the potential life of a developing baby.*

After the saline abortion procedure that was done to Mary was complete, Dr. Waddill left for home. The baby was then  taken by a nurse who did not realize the baby was still alive. The baby was placed inside a bucket to be taken to the pathology lab- this is where they do scientific studies on the nature, origin and progress and cause of disease. This is where they are to be examined and contents confirmed, if otherwise the contents are sent to a hospitals incinerator or medical waste company for disposal. They are put into a clinical waster bin as if this baby was trash. Thought some are being used for tests like stem cell research. The "embryo" or "fetus" is seen as biological waste according to law, unless the mother wants it buried/ceremony, if not it will be cremated as medical waste.

On the way to the pathology lab the baby began moving and crying, the nurses gathered around the living baby, they called Dr. Waddill.
Mary was not notified that her baby girl was alive.
The nurses cleaned the baby and brought her to the nursery. they charted her heart rate at 88 BPM (Beats Per Minute). Dr. Waddill appeared at the clinic in a furious mood. He chased the nurses out of the room and called another physical by the name of Dr. Ronald Cornelson.

*Two doctors are needed to be present to pronounce a premature baby dead*

A phone conversation was recorded and played in trial:

If we all tell the same story, there will be no trouble.… So long as we stand together, no one anywhere can make any accusations anywhere.… Do not get squirrelly. Just tell them exactly as we’ve discussed. Just say you went in, there was no heartbeat and you left.

Dr. Cornelson later testified that he believed the baby was closer to 31 weeks than 28 weeks. He heard Waddill say,

“Sorry to get you into this mess, we had a baby that came out alive from a saline abortion, and it can’t live!”

Dr. Waddill requested potassium chloride to inject into the baby’s heart.
Dr. Cornelson prevented the nurse from getting it.
Waddill then discussed throwing the baby into a bucket of water.
Dr. Cornelson said in testimony:
‘Why not just leave the baby alone?"

Waddill said, ‘This baby can’t live or it will be a big mess.’

Waddill then began strangling the child in front of Dr. Cornelson and other nurses.

No one interfered

This baby won’t stop breathing!”

-Dr. Waddill

Later in an autopsy, the lungs should that the baby girl had been breathing for at least 30 min.
Bruises were on her throat from being strangled.
However in trial, the autopsy, and the witnesses who watched the act did no justice; charges were dropped after two mistrials.
He did not lose his medical license, and continued to perform abortions and was working for the Family Planning Associate's.
Now the Family Planning Associates have been endorsed by National Abortion Federation, and 12 women have died at their clinics along with a handful and more of lawsuits.

In 1977, a Boston jury found Dr. Kenneth Edelin guilty of manslaughter for killing the product of a hysterectomy(from Greek ὑστέρα hystera "womb" and ἐκτομία ektomia "a cutting out of"). Edelin was the first physician convicted of manslaughter for the death of a baby boy while performing a legal abortion.

They are  alive, but die by neglect or murdered.

There is a newspaper by the name of
“The Evening Independent”, in this newspaper there is an article titled “Live Birth Abortion”, there is a case history of abortions starting on pg. 13 and ending on the 15th page:

CDC's Division of Reproductive Health
(DRH)

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
362 babies born alive following a botched abortion have died in the last decade.

CDC's Division of Reproductive Health (DRH) monitors maternal and infant mortality, the most serious reproductive health complications.CDC began abortion surveillance in 1969 to document the number and characteristics of women obtaining legal induced abortions. Many states and reporting areas (New York City and the District of Columbia) conduct abortion surveillance. CDC compiles the information these reporting areas collect to produce national estimates. CDC’s surveillance system compiles information on legal induced abortions only.

Statistics from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) document the fact that infants die after being born-alive following attempted abortions. In its report “Deaths: Preliminary Data for 2011,” Table 5 of this vital statistics report compiles data on reported causes of infant deaths in both 2010 and 2011.

In 2010, there were 1,298 deaths in the “other perinatal (relating to or occurring during the period around childbirth, in detail from around week 28 of pregnancy to around one month after the birth) conditions” category, and in 2010 there were 1,270. These deaths are being officially tracked, and this tracking should underscore the fact that infants are being born-alive following attempted abortions.

The CDC in its collection of mortality statistics is the cause of death recorded under ICD-10 code P96.4 as:
“Termination of pregnancy"
Reveals that 362 infant deaths (i.e. first born alive) as a result of an attempted abortion have been reported in the most recently available 10-year period, 2001-2010.

Termination of Pregnancy,” - Abortion, that leads to the death of a “Newborn”- a baby who had been born alive.

ICD-10 code P96.4 Termination of pregnancy, newborn
In Canada that shows in the last reported ten years, “491 babies were left to die after they were born alive during abortions.”  A look at how these statistics are recorded by Canada’s official recording agency.

(Also using ICD-10 code P96.4).

In Britain it is reported that 50 babies are born alive as the result of botched abortions each year. Additionally, an “estimated 44,000 abortion survivors” are living in the United States today. This does not even include the newborn infants who die at the hands of abortionists.
